Warm Up - Ballet Style Arabesques
Step to the side (either on toes “demi pointe” or flat) and lift the back leg up (either straight or bent). Try to hold for a moment before lowering with control and stepping to the other side. Explore different arm positions and challenge balance by starting with the body facing forwards, sweep the leg out behind and then try to turn to face the side while keeping the back leg in the air.
