Warm Down - Straddle/ Pancake Stretch

Legs start out in a V shape while seated, as wide as possible. Lean forwards slowly for a stretch in the legs. This can also be done with a partner sitting in front and while holding hands, they rock forwards and back into increase the stretch.

Backpack Course

Everyone has a backpack, in space try to hold it above head and do exercises like squat down/ sit down and stand up, holding it above the head, then try balancing on one leg while holding it above the head. Can create a relay where everyone lines up, have to pass the backpack over the head to the next person, the person at the end has to put it on, jump to the end of the room and back, and then join the end of the line and pass it over head along the line again.

Ballet Finisher & Lying Pilates Stretching

Plie challenge, everyone in circle, go round see who can make the deepest plie. Then who can balance on one leg with arms in air. Stay in circle and encourage interaction between. See if everyone can hold hands and stretch each leg behind them one at a time.
Come to lying down hug the knees, point and flex the feet, releases lower back and helps as part of cool down. Leg uncurls and lifts, point and flex the foot and alternate legs (build a rhythm, encourage pointed toes and lowering slowly as though a ballet movement. Side lying leg lifts (as in pilates) which open the hips and warm up the lower body, again bending the knee and uncurling to make it appear more graceful and balletic.
Straddle, Pike, and Flower stretches for the legs before slowly getting back up, deep breathing and giving everything a shake.

Balloon Target Game

Set up the balloon as a target and use objects (eg. pairs of socks) to throw at the balloon to try and hit it. Count how many times the team of participants can hit it within a certain period of time, or set a number of times they need to hit it and see how quickly they can complete this as a team eg. hit the balloon 10 times.

Baseball Games

One participant underarms an item such as pair of socks, scrunched up paper etc at another participant who trys to hit it with the noodle.

Balloon Boxing

Tie a piece of elastic or similar (ribbon, string etc) to the balloon. Tie the other end around a particpants head. Continue to box the balloon whilst moving around and avoiding others. Try and do a left step with a left handed box and a right step with a right handed box.
