Balance beams - balance on the line one foot in front of the other with arms out,
flamingo balance - stand like a flamingo and time who can be a flamingo the longest, egg and spoon on the line.
Balance whilst completing movements - eg. crouch down whilst balanced on one leg.
Marker balance - Participants balance a marker or equivalent on a part of their body such as the head or back and perform movements. This could include
* Crawl/ walk to a point and back Get them to walk backwards for some additional tests
* Class leader calls a movement for participants. Eg. Squat, stand on one leg, lean forward etc.
- May require some adjustment to suit Pre-School aged children, the elderly, pregnant women or SEND participants.
